Tour Package Itinerary
From Dehradun to Gangotri
Reporting time at Sahastradhara Helidrome is 0500 hrs.
Departure from Dehradun Helipad: 06:00 hrs
Arrival at Harsil Heli Base: 06:30 hrs
Altitude: 8,200 ft
We fly from Sahastradhara to Jhalla/Harsil by 0600 Hrs. After landing at helipad, our crew will receive the guests & take them for darshan in car. Gangotri Dham is approx. 25 km away from Harsil, which will take around 50 mins to reach. Total time that will be taken for Gangotri darshan is around 3 hours (Round Trip).
From Gangotri to Dehradun
After darshan, we return to Helipad to fly back to Sahastradhara. On arrival, our team will be ready to receive & welcome you back to Dehradun. This concludes your Ekdham journey of the Gangotri shrine.

Arrival at Dehradun Helipad: 10:30 hrs

VIP Darshan provides priority entry inside the temple premises only, and all darshan arrangements shall be facilitated strictly in accordance with the guidelines and SOPs prescribed by the temple committees. As VIP Darshan access is entirely managed by the temple authorities, it may be restructured, delayed, or temporarily suspended during VVIP movements or periods of heavy pilgrimage rush for security and crowd management purposes.

Bad Weather / Force Majeure Disclaimer
- Helicopter flying in hill regions is highly dependent on weather and safety conditions, and flight delays or cancellations are common due to rapidly changing mountain weather.
- Guests are advised to be mentally and logistically prepared for possible disruptions caused by bad weather or force majeure situations.
- Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: adverse weather, poor visibility, delayed clearances or permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by the Indian Air Force (NOTAMs), unexpected technical issues, crew illness, or late reporting by passengers at helipads.
- In all such circumstances, operations will be managed strictly as per the company policies detailed under the “Terms & Conditions” and “Important Guidelines & Policies” sections.
