7 Day Helicopter Pilgrimage with Outer Kora Trek – Fixed Departure Group Tour
Experience an exclusive and divinely fulfilling pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar starting from Lucknow, with helicopter access up to Hilsa and the sacred Outer Kora Parikrama by trek. This 7-day fixed-group yatra includes road travel through the Tibetan region of China, guided assistance throughout the journey, acclimatization days, comfortable stays, and spiritually enriching rituals at Mansarovar.
Day 1: Arrival in Lucknow → Drive to Nepalgunj
Arrive in Lucknow before 12 PM. Our representative will pick you up from the airport or railway station and proceed towards Nepalgunj by road.
A lunch stop is arranged at Bahraich.
Upon reaching the Indo–Nepal border, luggage and document verification will be done by border officials (approx. 20 minutes).
After entering Nepal, visit the sacred Bageshwari Devi Temple, one of the revered Shakti Peethas.
Later, check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Nepalgunj → Simikot → Hilsa → Taklakote
Early morning, board a 1-hour flight to Simikot, followed by a 25-minute helicopter flight to Hilsa.
Cross the border on foot (approx. 10 minutes), complete immigration formalities on the China side, and then drive 22 km (1 hour) to reach Taklakote (Burang/Purang).
Overnight stay at Taklakote.
Note: If flights are delayed due to weather, overnight stay will be arranged in Hilsa.
Day 3: Acclimatization Day at Taklakote
A full day is reserved for acclimatization to Tibet’s high-altitude climate. Relax at your hotel or explore the local markets of Taklakote.
Pilgrims can shop for essentials such as gloves, trekking sticks, empty water bottles, woolens, and trekking shoes. Overnight stay in Taklakote.
Day 4: Taklakote → Lake Mansarovar
Begin the drive to the holy Lake Mansarovar (approx. 95 km). En route, cross the first checkpoint.
After driving 70 km, reach the mystical Rakshas Tal, from where you can witness:
- Gurla Mandhata Peak
- The first view of Mount Kailash
- The serene Mansarovar Lake
Continue the remaining 25 km to Mansarovar and check into your guest accommodation.
Stay will be on a triple-sharing basis, with common washrooms for the group.
Day 5: Mansarovar → Taklakote / Hilsa
After performing holy puja, rituals, and meditation on the banks of Mansarovar, complete the full Parikrama of the lake by bus.
After Parikrama, drive back to Taklakote for the night. If weather permits, pilgrims may fly directly to Hilsa for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Taklakote / Hilsa → Simikot
Take the return journey following the same route and reach Simikot by evening. Overnight stay at Simikot.
Day 7: Simikot → Nepalgunj → Lucknow
Fly from Simikot to Nepalgunj and proceed by road to Lucknow (approx. 5 hours).
The yatra concludes with a drop-off in Lucknow for your onward journey.
